Humanity thirsts for intimacy. Across eras, cultures and genders, we all want the same thing: to Know and Be Known. This desire is at the core of every search for God, every human relationship, every social media venue, every conversation, and every insecurity. In my own life, God has brought me on a long journey toward freedom to Know and Be Known.

The Gospel says that God desires to Know us and Be Known by us–he sent his own Son to make that possible! Relationships gets richer the more we decide to release all fear of Knowing and being Known. The term for marital intimacy in the Bible is the Hebrew word for “know.” The conversations really worth having are the ones where all walls are down and we are unhindered from Being Known and inviting the same in others.

So that you can Know me: I am a follower of Christ. Jesus is the prize of my heart and His Word forms the core of my worldview! I am a wife and a new mother. I have experienced more joy and peace in being married to Michael than I thought was possible! I have the esteemed privilege of being a Stay-at-Home-Mom: my dream job! Michael, Baby Silas and I are on a long journey toward serving our God and his Gospel through missions. We don’t know what this will look like in the coming years, but the thirst of our hearts is to spend our lives so that others might KNOW JESUS!

In this small square of space, I want to Know and Be Known. I want to explore and share new ideas and invest in learning about life. I want to share my thoughts, my heart, and my experiences. You’ll find controversial discussions and maybe learn more about me than you really care to. Through it all, I invite you to experience that same freedom of intimacy that we all crave, which God has designed for us to experience through Knowing Christ!!
